Brief Update

We arrived safely in Seattle on November 5th, and we have been mostly in Bremerton and Ridgefield, WA these last few weeks, with a short visit to Tillamook, OR. The trip home went very well. We have a few prayer updates we want to share with you while we are home on furlough.

Housing: As we’ve been chatting with friends and family, we’ve realized that we forgot to include an update about our housing situation in our last newsletter. Shortly before we left Zambia, our home was sold and the new landlord has decided to continue renting to us, which was just what we’d been hoping for! Rent has gone up, but we have been able to sign a six month lease. Thank you so much for your prayers in regard to our housing situation! It has been a huge relief knowing that this is now taken care of. 

Sickness and Traveling Mercies: We are asking for prayers for good health. We have been sick for the last two weeks with some sort of respiratory illness and we are asking for prayers for healing and wisdom in this regard. The next two weeks will be full of intense travel and we would really appreciate your prayers. The kids are so excited to be home and loving time with cousins and friends, but as we enter into another time of intense travel it will be challenging for the kiddos.
